Who we are

This policy covers THRIVE!, which is operated by Thrive Media Group, 2230 Fairview Rd. #10302, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. You can reach us through our contact page or by writing to that address.

What we collect

Account email (for magic-link sign-in), profile details you choose to add (handle, bio, photos), and donation records (donor name, email, amount, message) when you give to a campaign. If you subscribe to text alerts, we also collect your mobile phone number.

Emails about briefs

If you're a creator, we may email you when a verified nonprofit posts a brief that matches the niches you chose, at most once a day. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can turn these emails off or on from your creator dashboard.

Who sees donor records

Donor records belong to the nonprofit a gift was made to — they can view and export their own donors' records at any time. Marking a gift "anonymous" hides your name from the public giving page; it does not hide it from the receiving nonprofit, which needs that information for its own records.

Third parties

Payments are processed by Stripe. Magic-link and transactional emails are sent via Resend. Text messages are delivered by Twilio. Uploaded images are stored on Cloudflare R2. We don't sell your data.

Text messaging

If you subscribe to text alerts, we collect your mobile number, the date you consented, and which nonprofit or creator page you subscribed on. We use them only to send the alerts you signed up for, plus confirmation, HELP, and STOP replies. Nonprofits and creators can see how many people subscribe, but never subscribers' phone numbers.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, or text-messaging opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging provider, Twilio, handles numbers only to deliver messages on our behalf. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time.

Closing your account and your data

Creators and nonprofits can manage their own account from Account settings in their dashboard:

• Pause hides your page and stops new gifts until you resume it.
• Delete removes the account and everything linked to it for good. It's available when the account has not handled any money on THRIVE!.
• Close is for an account that has handled money. It cancels the plan and any monthly gifts (and emails those donors), ends the campaigns, and removes your name, bio, photos, social links and contact lists. We keep the records of gifts, receipts and payouts, together with your email address and handle, because we need them for tax, payment and accounting purposes and to pay out what is still owed.

Other consent

Any email beyond transactional messages (receipts, sign-in links) and the updates you ask for requires your explicit consent, with one-click unsubscribe honored.
